Legal Agreement

Terms of Service

Last Updated: May 23, 2026. Welcome to DataFuse. Please read these terms carefully before accessing or using our developer integration systems.

1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you, either individually or on behalf of an enterprise entity ("you", "User"), and DataFuse Inc. ("DataFuse", "we", "us", "our"), concerning your access to and use of our website (datafuse.xyz), developer console, API gateways, integration compilers, CLI tools, and any related applications or plugins.

By creating an account, running our CLI init script, or utilizing our streaming tool gateways, you agree that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by all of these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you are explicitly prohibited from using our services.

2. Description of Services

DataFuse provides a specialized tool integration layer for autonomous AI agents. Our services include:

  • YAML Studio Compiler: Online and CLI compiling tools that translate YAML integration specifications into serverless action endpoints.
  • Cryptographically Decoupled Vaults: Secure credential management servers that isolate external API keys away from agent prompt windows.
  • Managed OAuth Portal: White-labeled authentication layouts allowing your end-users to link their personal accounts directly.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or deprecate technical features, developer SDK releases, or free allocation tiers at any time to preserve network integrity.

3. Registration & Accounts

To compile integrations or run API gateway streaming, you must register a developer account by linking a valid GitHub account or email profile.

Account Responsibility: You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your platform workspace credentials, API access tokens, and secret vault keys. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized breach or credential compromise. DataFuse will not be held liable for any damages resulting from prompt injections or credential exposure due to user negligence.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use DataFuse to:

  • Conduct or transmit illegal, abusive, or unauthorized API actions through our streaming gateways.
  • Attempt to bypass, inspect, or attack our isolated hardware key vaults.
  • Submit intentionally malicious prompt injection routines designed to leak system integrations or other users' profiles.
  • Reverse engineer, disassemble, or extract proprietary code from the closed-source parts of the DataFuse compiler portal.
  • Violate third-party terms of service for connected external applications (e.g. Slack, Gmail, Salesforce).

5. Subscription & Billing

DataFuse provides subscription billing through Stripe. Detailed subscription pricing is located on our Pricing Page .

Billing Cycle: Subscriptions are billed on a recurring monthly or annual basis starting from the day you sign up. Fees are non-refundable except where explicitly required by law.

Overage Fees: Professional and enterprise plans are subject to overage fees when monthly invocation limits or key vault storage levels are exceeded. Overage rates are detailed on your billing agreement panel.

6. Intellectual Property

Our Intellectual Property: All original code, designs, branding, YAML compiler algorithms, telemetry models, and dashboard layouts remain the exclusive property of DataFuse Inc.

Your YAML Configs & Code: You retain full ownership, intellectual property rights, and copyright over all YAML schema configs, integration tools definitions, and software agent code you write and compile. By loading them onto our gateway, you grant us a temporary, non-exclusive license to host, run, and parse them strictly to execute your requested integrations.

7. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

DATAFUSE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

IN NO EVENT SHALL DATAFUSE INC., ITS DIRECTORS, OR ITS EMPLOYEES BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES (INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA LOSS, OR SYSTEM DOWNTIME) ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF FOREWARNED.

OUR CUMULATIVE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE SHALL NEVER EXCEED THE TOTAL FEES PAID BY YOU TO DATAFUSE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

8. Termination & Suspension

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your workspace access immediately and without prior notice in the event that you violate these Terms, violate local laws, or present a critical security risk to the DataFuse gateway.

You may terminate your account and cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, your payment plan will transition at the end of the billing cycle, and you can permanently delete your credentials and developer profile through the security console.

9. Dispute & Governing Law

These Terms and your relationship with DataFuse shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any legal suit, action, or proceeding arising out of or related to these Terms shall be instituted exclusively in the federal or state courts located in Wilmington, Delaware, and both parties consent to personal jurisdiction therein.
